Solid Silver cased 1915 hallmarked

Here we have a very interesting timepiece!

A lovely WW1 fully hallmarked Sterling silver cushion-cased dated 1915-16. Its beautiful unmarked dial and hands relate to the early 'Rolex' design, after taking a close look at the beautifully decorated 15 jewel movement we noticed an 'R' stamped on the back plate.

We believe this could be an unsigned Rolex piece which was not unheard of in those decades.

Stunning condition and winds effortlessly, a must see.
